The Terms and Conditions of Sale detailed below govern the contractual relationship between the ‘User’ (hereinafter also referred to as ‘You’ or the ‘Customer’) and RetroLaboratory Limited, trading as RetroLab (hereinafter also referred to as ‘RetroLab’, ‘We’ or the ‘Website’), a Limited Company registered in the United Kingdom (number 09846180), and with a registered office address of 7 Henrietta Street, London WC2E 8PS. Both parties accept these conditions unreservedly. These Terms and Conditions of Sale are the only conditions that are applicable and replace all other conditions, except in the case where We have given the User prior, express, written dispensation. We maintain that, by confirming your order, You have read and do unreservedly accept our Terms and Conditions of Sale. These Terms and Conditions of Sale are important to You and RetroLab as they are used both to protect your rights as our valued Customer, and our rights as a business.
RetroLab reserves the right to update our Terms and Conditions of Sale, and the Website, from time to time, at our discretion, and without any notice. It is solely your responsibility to keep up-to-date with our latest Terms and Conditions of Sale. Your continued use of the Website following the publishing of updated Terms and Conditions of Sale will be taken to mean that You have read and agree to the changes.
RetroLab try to ensure that the Website is always available and fully functional, but We cannot guarantee that the Website will not have periods of unavailability for reasons outside of our control. Additionally, We reserve the right to limit access to the Website for short periods of time during, for example, general maintenance. We will attempt to keep the occasions where the Website is off-line to a minimum and will endeavour to undertake any corrective technical work at times that We have identified as generally inconveniencing our customers the least. We will however not be held liable, for any reason, if all or any part of the Website is unavailable at any time, and for any duration.
Parts of our Website require that You input a password to access certain features. This is to be able to provide You with details relevant to your order and account, whilst still maintaining your privacy. To do this, as part of our security procedures, We require that You register an account with RetroLab by entering your email address and choosing a secure password. We highly recommend that You choose a strong password that is hard for others to guess, and that You also log-out from your account at the end of each session. There is a password reset procedure in case You forget your password. You must treat your account log-in information as confidential and do not disclose this log-in information to anyone. If You think for any reason that there may have been a breach of security then it is your responsibility to notify us immediately and, if logging-in to your account is still possible, to then change your password straight away.
At our sole discretion, We reserve the right, at any time and without prior notification, to disable a User’s account if, in our opinion, that User has failed to comply with any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
RetroLab takes great care when publishing product descriptions, images, pricing and other information on its Website, but We will not be held liable for any errors or omissions in the Website’s content.
The prices indicated on the Product, Image Selection and Product Editing pages of our Website are shown in Pounds Sterling, and do not include delivery. During the checkout process, the delivery cost is clearly itemised alongside the pricing for your chosen product(s). Delivery charges are also shown on both the Delivery And Returns page and the Frequently Asked Questions page of the Website. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time - any changes made will be applied concurrently to all pages of the Website that feature any pricing information.
As of 1 May 2016, RetroLaboratory Limited is not required by HM Revenue and Customs to charge Value Added Tax.
All RetroLab printed products are personalised with the Customer’s own imagery – consequently, orders for printed products are considered final and irreversible by RetroLab at the point of order placement.
RetroLab publish realistic production and delivery times on the Website. However, accepting that workloads can vary, as part of the order confirmation e-mail sent to all customers, We will advise You of the period of time within which You can expect delivery of your order.
RetroLab only deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Your order will be delivered to the address that You indicated when your order was placed. We do not deliver to PO Box numbers.
RetroLab make great effort to honour the delivery times indicated on the Website and order confirmation e-mails. We will not however be held liable for any consequences of:
In the event that an attempt to deliver the order to you within the period of time specified by RetroLab is not made, please contact us as soon as possible - We will then begin an investigation with our delivery contractor and obtain a satisfactory resolution for You as soon as is reasonably practicable. During this period of investigation, no re-manufacturing of the order or reimbursement will take place.
If the product in your order is faulty or damaged please contact RetroLab within 30 calendar days of your order being delivered. We will then send you a pre-paid address label for return of the order to us so that we can examine the nature of the fault or damage. If after our examination We accept that the fault or damage is unacceptable We will offer to re-manufacture your order and deliver this to You free of any charge, or give You a full refund, including the original delivery charge.
RetroLab has chosen Braintree as their sole internet payment gateway provider. Braintree (a division of PayPal Inc.) is a validated Level 1 PCI DSS Compliant Service Provider.
If RetroLab fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions of Sale, We shall only be liable to You for the purchase price of the product and the delivery charge.
Please note that it is your responsibility to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. We will not be held liable for any breach by You of any such laws.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions of Sale excludes or limits our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; any breach of the obligations implied by Section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 or Section 2 of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982; defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987; or any other liability that it would be unlawful or illegal to limit or exclude any liability for.
The User’s intellectual property ownership
By using the Website, the User also indemnifies RetroLab against any action for breach of copyright caused by the User uploading an image or images for printing, when:
With the exception of any credited source, all of the content on the Website is the sole property of RetroLab. Any partial or total reproduction of this content, on any media or platform, is subject to prior and express authorisation by RetroLab only.

Any failure of RetroLab to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms and Conditions of Sale shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. The Terms and Conditions of Sale constitutes the entire agreement between You and RetroLab, and governs your use of the service, superseding any prior agreements (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms and Conditions of Sale). If any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Sale is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of the Terms and Conditions of Sale will continue in full force and effect.
